Well, back to work after a wonderful week in Germany! Heather and Marc-Andre are married!!!!! The wedding was beautiful and the reception was fun.

We spent the rest of the week going around Germany to different towns that are a part of our heritage.

It was great to have Spencer there for the short time that he was able to join us. While we were walking in Lauterbach we found a store that was named VOGT, so we got our picture taken in front of it. After the brunch on Sunday morning we had Katy take some engagement pictures.

Stephen did wonderfully on the plane on the way home. He didnt cry once!! It was great to have the whole family together, especially with the new addition of Stephen and the other boys!!!

Well, I had a wonderful time in Germany but it is good to be home again, besides going back to work. It will be good to have everyone together again for Heidi's wedding in January!

I'm Engaged

I can't believe it. Spencer showed up yesterday and surprised me. He had flown in early yesterday morning and spent the whole day with my parents. They went to The Morton Arboretum for lunch.
Spencer took me out for a romantic dinner at Mill Race Inn in Geneva. I guess that it was one of my grandparents favorite places to go. Then he surprised me with a horse drawn carriage ride through the historic part of Geneva. After about 15-20 min. we got off the the carriage and started to walk on a path that goes right along the river. While we were walking he got down on his knee and asked, "Emily Darice Lorimor, will you marry me and be my wife?" in reply I said,"Yes,Yes,Yes!!!" Then we walked back to the carriage and rode around a little longer. When we got home my family was there waiting in anticipation that Spencer had done something. So we are engaged!!!!

Time Flies!!!!

So, a lot has happened since my last post.

Spencer and I went to the Bears Vs. Packers game on Sep 10th at Lambeau Field. It was a great game (if you were a Bears fan). GO Bears GO!!! We won 27-0!!!! We are looking forward to the Dec 31st game in Chicago. It will be a little on the cold side, but it should still be fun.

Stephen had is 3 month birthday on the 28th of this month. He is growing so fast. I can't believe how big he is getting. I was able to go down there last weekend. Ryan, Heidi, Dave (Ryan's Dad), and I went to the Iowa, UofI game. It was fun. Heidi and I got some good time together!

Spencer and I have decided that we are going to live in Texas. I am going down there this weekend and we are going to meet with a builder on Saturday. We have two house designs that we really like. I am sure that the builder will have a couple aswell. It will be interesting to see what comes of this weekend.

6 Months!!!

I can't believe that Spencer and I have been together for 6 months already. Although it seems like a lot longer sometimes. For our anniversary Spencer decided to get me a Walter Payton jersey. I LOVE IT!! He is so thoughtful. I was able to go down and spend last weekend with him and his family. I have met all three sisters and their families now. So I have met everyone in his immediate family. We went out on his Harley Saturday morning into the afternoon, and then we went to his friend's wedding reception. We had lots of fun dancing together after we got used to the way the other person danced we did alright. I didn't realize how popular the two-step was down there. I guess that is what everyone does down in Texas. But now I have to wait 4 weeks till I get to see him again! I hate having to leave after spending time with him but I know that we will be together someday. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Well, as of June 28th I am an Aunt!!!! My sister Lisa gave birth to a boy. Stephen Larry Leatherman was 8lbs 8oz and 21 inches long. Everyone is doing great. Stephen was 3 weeks old as of yesterday. I was able to see him on the 4th of July when Spencer and I were driving back from Colorado. I can't wait to see him again.
